學(xué)名：Ixobrychus eurhythmus

英名：Schrenck' s Bittern

形態(tài)：小型涉禽，體長(zhǎng)29-39cm。體型小而細(xì)長(zhǎng)，腳、頸較短，翅較寬圓，眼先和脛下部裸出。雄鳥頭頂暗栗褐色，其余上體紫栗色，腹面淡土黃色，從喉至胸有栗褐色縱線。飛羽黑色、翅覆羽灰黃色。雌鳥從頭頂至背紫栗色，背部有細(xì)小的白色斑點(diǎn)。

虹膜黃色；嘴黃色，嘴峰褐色；腳黃綠色。

分布：中國(guó)中東部、南部大部分地區(qū)有分布。在保護(hù)區(qū)屬常見的旅鳥。

習(xí)性：棲息于富有岸邊植物的河流、草地、水塘、沼澤地等。性孤僻，常在晨昏單獨(dú)活動(dòng)。主要以小魚、蝦、蛙、昆蟲等動(dòng)物性食物為食。
