形態(tài)：中型鳥類，體長(zhǎng)23-27cm。通體金黃色，兩翅和尾黑色。雄鳥頭枕部有寬闊的黑色帶斑，并向兩側(cè)延伸和黑色貫眼紋相連，形成一條圍繞頭頂?shù)暮趲?。雌鳥色較暗淡，背橄欖黃色。亞成鳥背部橄欖色，下體近白而具黑色縱紋。

虹膜紅色；嘴粉紅色；腳鉛藍(lán)色。

分布：中國(guó)東半部多數(shù)省份有分布。在保護(hù)區(qū)屬常見(jiàn)的夏候鳥。

習(xí)性：喜低丘陵地帶的次生闊葉林和混交林。成對(duì)或以家族為群活動(dòng)。主要以昆蟲為食，也吃少量植物果實(shí)與種子。
