五泄風(fēng)景名勝區(qū)為國家特別的山水型自然風(fēng)景名勝區(qū)。2002年5月被國務(wù)院命名為國家重點(diǎn)風(fēng)景名勝區(qū)，2002年8月被國家旅游局評定為國家AAAA級旅游區(qū)，2003年12月被國家林業(yè)局評定為國家級森林公園。區(qū)總面積50平方千米，經(jīng)諸暨市綠化委員會、市林業(yè)局測定，景區(qū)綠化面積達(dá)到89.77%；景區(qū)內(nèi)植被保護(hù)良好，生態(tài)環(huán)境一流；景區(qū)在資源保護(hù)、生態(tài)建設(shè)、規(guī)范管理、基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施、景觀特色、文化底蘊(yùn)等各方面取得了卓越的成效。

The scenic spot does a good job in resources protection and ecological construction，standardized management，infrastructure，landscape features，culture relics，etc.，making it first class in ecological environment.Wuxie scenic spot is one of the national discharge scenic landscapes of special type of natural scenic spot.In May 2002it was named national key scenic spot by the state council；in August 2002it was listed as national AAAA Tourism by national tourism administration；in December 2003it was listed as a National Forest park by state forestry administration.The scenic spot covers a total area of 50km2，89.77%green coverage measured by Zhuji Municipal Forestry Bureau.

五泄景區(qū)素以奇瀑峰秀、幽谷茂林著稱；尤以一水五折的飛瀑壯觀聞名遐邇，為國內(nèi)獨(dú)一無二；早在1400多年前的北魏著名地理學(xué)家酈道元在水系巨著《水經(jīng)注》就對五泄作了詳細(xì)描述。唐朝元和三年（公元808年），靈摩禪師創(chuàng)建五泄禪寺，佛教曹洞宗祖師良價在五泄禪寺批剃出家。七十二峰、三十六坪、二十五崖、十石、五瀑、三谷、二澗、一洞構(gòu)成了一幅秀麗的山水畫；景區(qū)由碧波蕩漾的五泄湖、四季如春的桃源景區(qū)、西源原始生態(tài)峽谷、東源瀑布群、五泄禪寺組成。五泄景區(qū)以其獨(dú)特的自然景觀、一流的生態(tài)環(huán)境、悠久的歷史文化、豐富的土特產(chǎn)吸引了眾多海內(nèi)外人士前來觀光、游覽、度假。

Wuxie scenic spot is famous for its strange peaks and glen turfs，especially in water half-off waterfalls，which is unique in China.It was recorded 1，400years ago in Shuijing Zhu by the northern famous geologist Li Daoyuan.Consisting of the rippling five venting，four spring-like lake scenic spot，the source of Taoyuan primitive ecology canyon，Dongyuan waterfalls，Wuxie Temple，the scenic spot is a beautiful landscape with 72peaks，36ping，25cliff，10huge rocks，5waterfalls，3gorges，2streams and a valley hole.Five venting with its unique natural scenic landscapes，ecological environment，a long history and culture and varieties of products have attracted many people both home and abroad.

景區(qū)自1984年開發(fā)建設(shè)至今20多年，在內(nèi)部管理和生態(tài)環(huán)境建設(shè)上嚴(yán)格按照“科學(xué)規(guī)劃、同一管理、嚴(yán)格保護(hù)、永續(xù)利用”的原則，合理設(shè)置管理機(jī)構(gòu)，建立健全的風(fēng)景名勝資源保護(hù)的各項(xiàng)管理制度，落實(shí)各項(xiàng)生態(tài)環(huán)境、資源保護(hù)措施，完善各種強(qiáng)化內(nèi)部管理和生態(tài)環(huán)境建設(shè)的配套基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施。

It has been over 20years since the scenic spot was developed in 1984.During this period，the administration of the scenic spot has followed the principle of “scientific planning，the same management，strict protection and sustainable utilization”in the internal management and ecological environment construction，rationally set up management branches，establish and perfect the institution of scenic resource protection management system，implement the measures of ecological environment and complete the construction of supporting infrastructures for strengthening internal management and improve the ecological environment.

景區(qū)主要管理機(jī)構(gòu)為五泄風(fēng)景管理處，下屬單位有五泄水庫、五泄林場、五泄旅游公司船隊(duì)，職能科室有資源保護(hù)科、園林綠化隊(duì)、衛(wèi)生保潔隊(duì)、保安中隊(duì)、經(jīng)營管理科、售檢票處、營銷科等。

The main management agency is Wuxie scenic spot administration，whose subordinate units are Wuxie reservoir，Wuxie forest，Wuxie tourism company fleet，whose function departments are the department of resources protection，virescence team，sanitation team，security team，operating and managing section，ticket office，ticket office，marketing section，etc.
