我天生不喜冰雪，不喜高山，不喜大海，不喜荒野；

我從來都怕嚴(yán)寒，都怕單調(diào)，都怕動物，都怕強(qiáng)光。

但我來到了南極洲，來到了喬治王島，來到了長城站。

這里沒有綠色，

這里沒有人際，

這里沒有市井，

這里沒有周末。

在這里，滿目海洋與天空的藍(lán)色。

嗅著南太平洋空氣的清新，與企鵝、海豹親密接觸。

在沒有黑夜的日子里，我還在盼天明。

By nature I am not enamored of snow，nor mountains，oceans or wilderness.

I am averse to cold，to boredom，to wild animals，to harsh light.

But I made the journey to Antarctica，King George Island，Great Wall Station.

Here nothing is green，

Here social contacts are few，

Here no marketplaces exist，

Here weekends are alien.

Here ocean and blue sky are all enveloping.

Breathing clean southern air，living in close proximity to penguins and seals.

Darkness is absent and I yearn for a dawn.
