上林湖瓷窯位于慈溪市上林湖一帶，為國家重點文物保護單位。其生產(chǎn)的青瓷以色澤和質(zhì)量上乘著稱。上林湖是中國青瓷主要產(chǎn)區(qū)之一。從漢代到宋代，上林湖共有古窯100座。經(jīng)過晉、唐、五代的發(fā)展，燒制的青瓷產(chǎn)品顏色更豐富，品種也更多，在全國青瓷產(chǎn)品中品質(zhì)領(lǐng)先。古時候，上林湖窯瓷被官府指定為官窯。從唐代起，上林湖青瓷就通過馬來半島、印度洋、波斯灣和地中海地區(qū)遠銷亞非?，F(xiàn)在，日本、南非、印度、伊朗和埃及都有古時青瓷遺跡被發(fā)現(xiàn)。

Shanglin Lake Kiln Site is situated in the area near Shanglin Lake，Cixi City.It is a national grade cultural protection unit.The celadon produced by the kiln is famous for its color and quality.Shanglin Lake is an important source and base for celadon in China.There are 100ancient kilns from han Dynasty to Song Dynasty.The products became more colorful which cover more catalogues after the development of Jing，Tang and Wudai Dynasties.The quality of its products toped that of other kilns in the country.In ancient times，the government designated it as the tribute kiln.From the Tang Dynasty，Shanglin Lake celadon were sold to more than 20countries and districts in Asia and Africa via Malaysia peninsular，India Ocean，persian Bay and Mediterranean areas.Now，the celadon can be found in ancient ports in Japan，South African，India，Iran and Egypt.
