會議口譯中詩詞名句的傳譯

中國人喜歡出口成章，許多國家元首和高級官員在作演講或答記者問時常喜歡引經據典，表達自己的立場，增強演說效果。因此，譯員在平時要注意提高文學修養(yǎng)，收集積累一些比較經典的詩詞名句的譯法。下面介紹一些溫家寶總理在歷次記者招待會上妙用詩詞名句的例子。

(上任伊始)要“居安思危，有備無患”。我總記著一句古訓:“生于憂患，死于安樂。”

(臺灣問題)說起臺灣，我就很動情，不由地想起了一位辛亥革命的老人、國民黨的元老于右任在他臨終前寫過的一首哀歌:“葬我于高山之上兮，望我大陸。大陸不可見兮，只有痛哭。葬我于高山之上兮，望我故鄉(xiāng)。故鄉(xiāng)不可見兮，永不能忘。天蒼蒼，野茫茫。山之上，國有殤。”這是多么震撼中華民族的詞句。

(概括工作)一位朋友問我，你能不能用一兩句詩概括一下你今年和今后的工作。我想起兩位偉人的詩，一位是毛澤東主席的“雄關漫道真如鐵，而今邁步從頭越”。一位是屈原的，“路漫漫其修遠兮，吾將上下而求索”。

The strong pass of the enemy is like a wall of iron，yet with firm strides，we are conquering its summit．

My way ahead is long;I see no ending;yet high and low I'll search with my will unbending．

對今年的工作，我始終保持清醒的頭腦，“安不忘危，治不忘亂”，要有憂患意識，看到前進中存在的困難和問題。

We should never forget the dangers and in times of peace，we should always beware of the potential for chaos．

(臺灣問題)這里，我想起了1896年4月17號一位臺灣詩人，幾乎是用血和淚寫的28個字的詩。他的名字叫丘逢甲。他是臺灣彰化人。他說:“春愁難遣強看山，往事驚心淚欲潸，四萬萬人同一哭，去年今日割臺灣?！?/p>

On such a nice spring day，my heart was so heavy with sadness．So I went out sightseeing in the mountain，however，my mind always went back to this day last year when 4 million people on Taiwan cried the same tears of sorrow as Taiwan was ceded．

(宏觀調控)“行百里者半九十”。絕不能半途而廢，當然我們將更加注重區(qū)別對待有保有壓，注重采用經濟機制的調節(jié)和經濟手段的調節(jié)。

(臺灣問題)中國有一句古話:“一尺布，尚可縫;一斗粟，尚可舂。同胞兄弟何不容?”

(當前形勢)我從群眾的意見當中，感受到大家對于政府的期待和鞭策，也看到了一種信心和力量。我們的國家和民族正站在歷史的新起點上面對新的任務，形勢稍好，尤須謹慎。“思所以危則安，思所以亂則治，思所以亡則存?！?/p>

To think about where danger looms will ensure our security;to think about why chaos occurs will ensure our peace;and to think about why a country falls will ensure our survival．

(臺灣問題)中國有一句古話，叫做“得道者多助，失道者寡助”。臺灣當局領導人阻撓開放“三通”，收緊以致限制兩岸的經貿往來，這不僅不利于臺灣的經濟發(fā)展，而且損害臺灣同胞利益。

A just cause enjoys abundant support，while an unjust one finds little support．

2007年中外記者招待會

(中日關系)日中是一衣帶水的鄰邦。中國有一句古話，“召遠在修近，避禍在除怨”。這是管子的話。在中日兩國政府的共同努力下，我們就消除影響兩國關系的政治障礙問題達成了共識。這就促成了安倍首相去年10月訪問中國。

To win distant friends，one needs，first of all，to have good relations with his neighbors．To avoid adversity，one needs to ease animosity．

(臺灣問題)海峽兩岸和平發(fā)展是大勢所趨，是任何人無法改變的?！俺林蹅扰锨Х^，病樹前頭萬木春?！?/p>

A thousand sails pass by the wrecked ship;ten thousand saplings shoot up beyond the withered tree．

(改革問題)解放思想和改革創(chuàng)新，如果說前者是因的話，后者就是果。五年前，我曾面對大家立過誓言，茍利國家生死以，豈因禍福避趨之。今天我還想加上一句話，就是“天變不足畏，祖宗不足法，人言不足恤”。

One should not fear changes under the heaven and one should not blindly follow old conventions and one should not be deterred by complaints of others．

(網友建言)“兩會”期間我一直在上網，廣大網民向我提問題、提建議，甚至為我分憂，多達數百萬條。我常常一邊看網，腦子里就想一段話，就是“民之所憂，我之所思;民之所思，我之所行”。

What people are concerned about preoccupies my mind，and what preoccupies people's mind is what I need to address．

(解放思想)我想集中回答一下關于解放思想這個問題。一般的道理大家都知道。我想從中國的文化、傳統(tǒng)和歷史上講一點自己的看法。我一直很重視兩句話:一句話來自《詩經》，一句話來自《詩品》，就是“周雖舊邦，其命維新”，“如將不盡，與古為新”。
